Printify Pricing: The Ultimate Guide to Printify Fees in 2025

printify pricing

Printify pricing is simple: You can start for free, but you’ll still need to cover product costs, shipping, and any extras like premium designs. The Free Plan is great for beginners, while the Premium Plan ($29/month) helps growing sellers save up to 20% on products. If you’re scaling big, the Enterprise Plan offers even more discounts and features, but pricing depends on your business size.

If you’re planning on launching a print on demand business in 2025, Printify is easily one of the best partners you can consider working with.

It’s one of my favorite print on demand platforms (alongside Gelato and Printful) for a few reasons. Printify offers companies access to advanced design tools (like an AI image generator) hundreds of unique products, and integrations with various sales channels.

But there is one thing you’ll need to get your head around before you start selling custom products with Printify – and that’s Printify pricing.

The good news? Like many of the top print on demand platforms, Printify allows users to get started for free – but that doesn’t mean there aren’t costs to prepare for.

You’ll still need to budget for production fees, shipping expenses, and other services. Plus, there’s the all-important question of whether it’s worth upgrading to a Printify premium plan to consider too.

Here, I’ll break down everything you need to know about Printify’s pricing plans, and all the extra “costs” you’ll need to think about when building your POD empire.

The Printify Plan Options

PlanMonthly CostAnnual Cost (Per Month)Best For
Free$0$0Beginners testing ideas
Premium$29$24.99Growing sellers (10-20+ sales/month)

Let’s start with the basics: Printify’s pricing plans. Unlike some POD alternatives, Printify offers companies a range of options to choose from, starting with it’s convenient free plan, and extending all the way to its custom-priced enterprise subscription.

Each option has its own unique perks that make it appealing for different kinds of merchants, for instance:

  • Free Plan: Ideal for dipping your toes into the print-on-demand waters. Perfect if you’re just starting out or testing ideas without wanting to commit to monthly costs.
  • Premium Plan: Best for those ready to grow—if you’re managing steady sales (around 10–20 a month), this $29/month plan helps boost profits with great discounts.
  • Enterprise Plan: Tailored for big players scaling rapidly – the enterprise plan gives you additional discounts on all products, and some unique bonus benefits.

The Printify Free Plan: Best for Beginners

Printify’s free plan is the ideal option for new print on demand merchants who want to keep costs low, while still accessing all of the great features Printify has to offer.

This plan includes access to all of the core features of Printify, from its AI-powered design tools to its huge product catalog.

You also get support for:

  • 5 Online Stores: Enough for small-scale sellers who want to test multiple platforms.
  • Unlimited Product Designs: Let your creativity run wild and design as many products as you like!
  • Mockup Generator: Easily create mockups to showcase your designs.
  • Ecommerce Integrations: Sync with platforms like Shopify, Etsy, and eBay.
  • Order Management Options: Automate or manage orders manually for full control.
  • 24/7 Support: Free help at any time.

Plus, you can experiment with all of Printify’s latest tools, such as it’s “Pop-up store” generator, product creator tools, and dashboards for tracking sales. Simply put, the free plan gives you everything you need to bring your print on demand venture to life.

The Printify Premium Plan: Great for Growing Businesses

The first “paid” plan available from Printify is the “Premium” plan, which costs $29 per month, or $24.99 per month if you pay annually.

This is an excellent option for companies that are starting to grow, and want an innovative way to optimize their profit margins.

As well as giving you all the resources and features you get on the free plan, the premium plan also gives merchants access to:

  • 10 online stores: Create and manage up to ten online stores in a unified environment.
  • Discounts: Get up to 20% off all of the amazing products in Printify’s catalog.
  • Order management: Gain more control over your order management strategy with Printify Connect – and automate more workflows.

Compared to some paid POD platform plans, like the Printful Growth membership, Printify Premium might seem a little simplistic at first.

However, it’s definitely worth considering if you’re earning consistent sales. Imagine, for instance, you were selling custom phone cases with Printify.

If you sold 25 cases a month on the free plan, you’d spend around $427.26 in production costs.

However, if you upgraded to a Premium plan, you’d only pay around $13.16 per case, or $329 in production costs in total.

That’s an almost $100 saving – meaning your Premium plan basically pays for itself (and you end up with extra profits).

The Printify Enterprise Plan: For Large-Scale Sellers

Finally, we have the Printify Enterprise plan – this is basically a version of the Printify Premium subscription tailored for larger companies.

You’ll have to contact the sales team to get a custom quote based on your sales volumes and production needs – but you can expect to pay quite a bit more than you would for Printify Premium.

Essentially, this plan gives you all the benefits of Premium, as well as some incredible extras, like custom API integrations, and early access to new Printify features. You also get extra discounts on all of Printify’s products, as well as:

  • Support for unlimited stores
  • A dedicated account manager for premium customer service
  • Branded customer support for your customers

If you’re currently selling hundreds of customized products each month, and you want to scale your operations even faster, Printify’s enterprise plan is a great choice.

Printify Plan Features

Each Printify plan comes with different features. The Free Plan gives access to basic tools like unlimited product designs and ecommerce integrations. The Premium Plan allows up to 10 stores and offers product discounts. The Enterprise Plan is designed for scaling businesses, with unlimited stores, dedicated support, and API integrations.

Printify Pricing: The Other Costs to Consider

One of the things that makes Printify pricing a little more complicated to get your head around at first – is that you don’t just have the price of premium plans to consider.

Even if you choose Printify’s “free” plan, you’ll still need to pay for things, like the base cost of your products, shipping fees (if you’re not charging your customers for delivery) and additional extras.

Here’s a quick run-down of the main costs you’ll need to consider:

Product and Printing Fees

One of the main costs in using Printify is the base cost of the product itself. Every item available on the platform comes with a set price, determined by the manufacturer or printer.

The good news?

You don’t need to pay anything upfront. Instead, you’re charged when an order is made and sent to a customer, so there’s virtually no risk.

Plus, it’s worth noting that Printify’s products are pretty affordable, particularly when compared to the prices charged by competitors for similar products.

One of the reasons for this is that Printify partners with a wide range of manufacturers, all of which charge different prices for their products.

You can sort through manufacturers based on the base product price they charge, the colors and customization options they offer, their delivery fees and more.

When you click on a product in Printify’s collection, you’ll see the cheapest price offered by a partner manufacturer. For instance, prices for a Bella+Canvas 3001 Unisex Jersy t-shirt start at around $9.11.

While it might be tempting to choose the cheapest manufacturer, it’s worth considering all of your options carefully.

It might make sense to choose a supplier that charges slightly higher production fees if they can deliver products to customers faster, or offer a wide range of color options.

The good news is that Printify does offer access to handy profit calculators, and merchant reviews, so you can make data-backed decisions on who to work with.

Shipping and Delivery Fees

Shipping costs are another thing worth keeping in mind when you’re launching your POD store. Even though you’ll probably charge these fees to your customers, picking a supplier with a lower delivery fee can make it easier to convert buyers on your store.

Notably, different partners working with Printify take different approaches to charging shipping fees.

Some offer flat rate fees regardless of the location of your customer. For instance, you might spend $5 to ship a t-shirt to customer anywhere within a specific region.

Other partners calculate shipping costs based on the weight of the items, the overall cost of the product, and so on. If you’re targeting customers in the US, some Printify partners also offer “express delivery” for certain items.

You’ll be able to see the shipping costs charged by your chosen manufacturer in real-time when you’re creating and placing orders with Printify.

The platform also shows you (on average) how long it will take for a product to reach your customers.

Additional Fees: Design, Ecommerce, and Service Costs

Alongside production and shipping fees, there may be additional costs to consider if you want to access things like premium graphics for your design, specialist services, and external tools.

For instance, Printify’s design tools give users access to some Shutterstock images, graphics, shapes and AI-powered image generation features for free.

However, if you want to use a premium image from Shutterstock, you might need to pay between $0.99 and $1.49 per image. Some of the other potential costs to keep in mind include:

  • Ecommerce platform costs: While you can create a basic storefront with Printify’s “Pop-up store” tools for free, or sell through free marketplaces like Etsy and Ebay, you will need to pay for an ecommerce platform subscription if you want to build and run your own online store. I’d recommend Shopify for most POD sellers, and its subscription plans start at around $39 per month – depending on the features you need.
  • Printify Services: Printify offers access to a range of premium services for an additional fee. For instance, you can access specialist support from the Printify Experts program, or use Printify Studio for help setting up and launching your online store. Costs for these services vary, depending on the scope of your project.
  • Marketing costs: To grow your print on demand business, you’ll need to invest in marketing. Again, you can take advantage of some promotional strategies for free, like content marketing. However, you might want to set aside some of your budget for PPC campaigns, email marketing tools, and specialist services.

Here is a quick summary table:
